The Zatrnik Water System: Boil water notice
Infrastruktura Bled d.o.o. hereby informs all users of the Zatrnik Water System that a BOIL WATER ADVISORY has been issued and will remain in effect until termination.
Routine water sampling for microbiological analysis of drinking water showed that the samples taken from the Zatrnik Water System do not comply with the valid regulations. Microorganisms were found in more samples than allowed. Therefore, a precautionary measure of boiling the drinking water is recommended.
Please follow the instructions of The National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food and the HACCP study:
- Boil your water prior to usage until further notice, and follow the instructions about boiling the water which are available at our website.
- Flush your internal drinking water supply system (plumbing system) from time to time. Flushing should be intense. Let the water run for at least 15 minutes, possibly in thrusts with turbulent flow.
- Before flushing, remove and clean all strainers, water routers or any other accessories from all faucets.
- Other measures should also be taken according to the recommendations for maintaining internal drinking water systems, which are provided on our website.
The boil water advisory will be terminated as soon as a sufficient safety level of drinking water supply is achieved. The consumers will be informed about the termination of the boil water advisory (in the same way as they were informed of the measure declared).
In compliance with the instructions from The National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food, consumers have to be informed about these measures every two months.
