Where to dispose of different types of waste?

At a waste collection site (according to the calendar on waste collection day):

  • mixed waste,

  • packaging (plastic, composite and metal packaging),

  • paper, paper packaging and cardboard,

  • glass,

  • biodegradable kitchen waste,

  • bulky waste,

  • green garden waste.

 

At your local recycling center:

  • packaging (plastic, composite and metal packaging),

  • paper, paper packaging and cardboard,

  • glass,

  • biodegradable kitchen waste,

  • green garden waste – only at larger recycling centers,

  • clothes – only at larger recycling centers.

 

 

At the municipal recycling center:

  • paper and cardboard of all kinds and sizes, including paper and cardboard packaging waste,

  • glass of any kind and size, including glass packaging waste,

  • plastics, including packaging waste from plastic or composite materials,

  • metal waste, including metal packaging waste,

  • packaging which contains hazardous substances or is polluted (empty pressure vessels, metal packaging with porous materials),

  • woods, including wood packaging waste,

  • clothes and other types of textiles,

  • hazardous waste (cosmetics, deodorants, cooking oil, fats,solvents, acids, bases, photographic processing chemicals, pesticides, biocides, fluorescent tubes and other waste containing mercury, dyes, inks, glues and resins, detergents),

  • batteries and accumulators,

  • electric and electronic equipment (televisions, radio receivers, personal computers, printers, other electronic devices),

  • bulky waste (furniture, mattresses, lights etc.),

  • household appliances (cookers, refrigerators, freezers), heat pumps, air-conditioners,

  • waste motor oil,

  • wood containing hazardous substances,

  • car tyres,

  • construction material, soil and stones,

  • other mixed waste,

  • biodegradable kitchen waste,

  • green garden waste,

  • other separate waste.
